firstly its the imh visit! a total of 8 of us went(if i rmbed correctly la(: )
den we play games and interact with the patients. they are very nice ppl and it was a good experience! yipee!
here we are having a briefing before the start of the activities! and if u still duno this is qiuyi dearest with her new hairstyle! lolss..
den we started cutting xmas treess! wootss. our trees are beautiful arent they?
ohh we love imh! hey cos tt's qiuyi's 2nd home so must visit her often! hahass(:

update on Bonding session and senior's farewell!!
Hello people! I'm here to update on the bonding cum senior's farewell session!
ok.. since i was only there since 1300 hrs, i didnt know what happened during the preparation.
Anyway, we had games in the afternoon and it was.. quite fun lah. haha. the rain was both a blessing and a curse. becoz of the rain, we played something grade pig in the pavilion. however, the rain made those papers quite wet and disgusting. i am from group 1 btw.
We had the bbq after that! it was the highlight of the session in my opinion. Although the wind made it difficult to start the bbq, it was all part of the fun and we bonded somehow while starting the fire. HAHA. ok, there aren't any pictures till this point coz i dun have any. loLZ.
some pple left early and some left later, yada yada yada. those who stayed till the end of the bbq played with sparklers!
ok, here are some photos (not in chronological order coz its my 1st time posting images on with blogger. lolZ)
overall, the session was fun. ok, time to go! lots of hmwk to complete. tata~

Bonding session and senior's farewell!!

sorry for the late confirmation of the
bonding session details!!
please take note of the following.
Meeting:
1215 at Pasir Ris MRT Control Stationps.. DO NOT BE LATE. i don't think you want everybody to wait for you rights? so please try to be punctual.
To bring:
- Wear interact T-shirt
- An extra attire to change after the water captain ball (unless they are confident that they will not get wet)
- Water bottle
- Insect Repellent (optional)
- Sun-block Lotion (optional)
- Umbrella/Raincoat (optional)
- Sum of 15 dollars (Bike rental: 5 dollars, Food and Miscellaneous: 10 dollars)
note: we will most probably collect $10 from everybody so we can pay for the bike rental as a group instead of individually.
ps: the food we ordered is not halal but there is definitely no beef so please contact Jingqi @ 9857 7273 asap and inform her if you cannot eat non-halal food.
dinner will be bbq at one of the bbq pit there. so see you guys on 19th Dec, weds.
for those who do not know,
for those who are absent without valid reason, we will forfeit away 2 of his/her attended gm attendence.

bye bye chao thai mai & visits to the tsunami sites
really the sweetest kids!
a-chan! a really nice teacher :) she is well respected by the thai kids and us! she stayed in the school just to take care of us when we were there. and that's the memo book we did for the thai kids!
bye bye!then we moved on to the tsunami sites
a nice house gone. 
a memorial wall for the tsunami victims
the owner is a survivor of the tsunami
a peaceful beach now.

that day was a really satisfying day for everyone! we impressed the rotarians and the thai teachers! WHOOO!
at night! we started preparing for our cultural exchange performance! we learnt thai songs and dances! we learnt singapore town, dang wo men tong zai yi qi, vuneru malibaa and chan mali chan! we practised till 1 am! it was fun haha especially the thai dance!

well....after the nice trek, we revised our dances and then it's cultural exchange!

then came surprises!
we lit paper lanterns to pray for the kids! really heartwarming!
fireworks! and we get to light them!

but it's really gorgeous to see it from so near!
everyone went to sleep feeling high! or at least i was freaking high!!
